Keeping Austin Western - The Far West Art Show

The spirit of the American West rode into Austin this past September, with the much-anticipated return of the Far West Art Show. Co-founded by acclaimed Western painter Mark Maggiori and artist Petecia Le Fawnhawk, this year's sold-out show at Preacher Gallery brought together a who's-who of contemporary Western art.

The Austin show offered more than just paintings. With a larger venue and an expanded lineup of 37 artists, it was a multi-sensory experience that included music, vendors, and a dynamic crowd.
